UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA'S CAPSTONE BUSINESS LEADERSHIP ACADEMY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR SUMMER

TUSCALOOSA, Ala., March 1 -- The University of Alabama issued the following news release:

Applications are being accepted for the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration's Capstone Business Leadership Academy, a summer program for high school students.

The Capstone Business Leadership Academy is a 10-day residential summer program designed for rising academically exceptional high school students who are between their junior and senior years and who are interested in obtaining an education and pursuing a career in business.

Participants interact on an individual basis with university professors and working professionals through a variety of presentations and experience. The Academy also includes visits to top employers of business school graduates, including Fortune 500 companies and other national and regional leaders in the manufacturing, retail and service industries.

Each student will experience personal interaction with top-level executives and a behind-the-scenes look at operations and facilities.
